TetraPond® ClearChoice™ Pressure Filters
The TetraPond® ClearChoice™ Pressure Filters force water through sponges and then through bio-rings to help maintain clear and healthy pond water. Its biological filtration converts harmful ammonia into relatively harmless nitrates. It is designed with an easy, one-step back-flush valve for cleaning sponges and bio-media. You can also bury to conceal and don’t have to worry about a leak due to its robust latches and O-ring seal. Each pressure filter is sold as either a stand-alone unit or with an integrated UV clarifier to provide permanent control of suspended algae and reduce green water. If you later decide you want to add a UV clarifier to your pressure filter TetraPond® also provides UV upgrade kits.

TetraPond® Pressure Ultra Violet Filters

The TetraPond® ClearChoice™ Pressure Filters with UV Clarifier are designed similar and include the same benefits as the regular pressure filters. These filters also integrate an Ultra-Violet Clarifier that provides permanent control of suspended algae which cause green water. The dome on top of the filter protects the clarifier. Includes a 2-year limited warranty (excludes bulbs).

Tetra Bio-Filter

Maintain a healthy and clear pond with TetraPond ClearChoice Biofilters. Ornamental fish can overload a pond ecosystem with ammonia and other pollutants. ClearChoice biofiltration removes these contaminants and ammonia using its advanced Trickle Flow and Bio Ring technologies. Trickle Flow filtration is up to 5 times more efficient than filtration in which the media is submerged, allowing the Tetra ClearChoice filters to be smaller in size for a given pond size. Easy out-of-pond accessibility and simple maintenance. Mechanical pre-filter sponges-remove suspended debris to improve water clarity. Bio Ring media provide massive surface areas for beneficial aerobic bacteria to adhere to and multiply. Aerobic bacteria eat the ammonia toxins created by fish waste and decomposing plant materials. TetraPond internal spray systems and Trickle Flow technology disperses pond water slowly and evenly through the Bio Rings ensuring that there is sufficient oxygen to provide optimal biofiltration conditions. 1.25" drain fitting. Interchangeable .75", 1" intake fittings. Venturi inlet aerates water and thus enhances bio-activity.

TetraPond® GreenFree™ UV Clarifiers provide permanent control of suspended algae which cause green water. Heavy algae blooms are removed in most ponds within 5 days, keeping the pond algae free. This means water clarity is improved while reducing pond maintenance. Each unit is compact, durable, easy-to-install and energy efficient. The most efficient flow rate is 50% of total pond volume. The UV Clarifier is not submersible and should be brought in during the winter months when temperatures are at or below freezing.

Supreme Pond Mag-Drive Pump

The Supreme Mag-Drive pump has been designed and manufactured using the latest developments in magnetic technology. The pump consists of a power unit encased in water-proof epoxy which creates a magnetic field. This drives a powerful magnetic ceramic impeller, the only moving part, which makes it extremely energy efficient (over 50% savings compared to equivalent conventional pumps). These fish-safe magnetic pumps are virtually maintenance free with no seals to wear out.
